Brookhaven Town HallThere is a Brookhaven Town Hall Meeting this Thursday March 12th at 4:45 –
Please come out and sign up to speak. I will be there to cheer you on and hopefully many other homeowners as well. “What you allow will continue” is our motto.  We will keep on pushing until we see the changes that return our neighborhoods back as they were intended, single family homes.

PLEASE NOTE
If you are reporting a possible illegal rental to us please know that we will follow up with the town and the university as appropriate.
However, it would be extremely beneficial if you also sent a letter to Supervisor Ed Romaine and Councilwoman Valerie Cartright at Brookhaven Town Hall One Independence Hill Farmingville N.Y. 11738  and copy us at Stony Brook Concerned Homeowners PO BOX 445 Stony Brook N.Y. 11790.
In addition please call the town at 451-6161 and let them know the details of your complaint.
Also, at least twice a month the town holds board meetings where anyone can have an opportunity to speak for 3 minutes. The meetings are held at Town Hall in the 2nd floor auditorium and they begin at 5:00 PM. Those wishing to speak can sign up at 4:45PM or anytime thereafter and have an opportunity to speak for 3 minutes. The sign up table is in the front left corner of the auditorium. Even if you arrive late you can sign up at anytime and are guaranteed a time to speak, either before the 6:30 PM Public Hearing or afterwards, if by chance you don’t have an opportunity before the Public Hearing session.
The next Town Board Meeting is March 12th. Future dates can be found by going to the town’s website www.brookhaven.org and clicking on Calendar.
The more homeowners we have informing our elected officials and getting in front of the town board to let them know your displeasure the better.

Thanks for being a SBCH member and I look forward to you contributing to our cause by personally getting involved by speaking at the public meetings, calling and sending letters to our town officials.
We can only hope to win this fight when we all get involved.
